Introduction - Name and purpose of your email
Correct: My name is Ravi Sharma, and I'm applying for the position of 'Assistant Manager' that was advertised in the September 12th edition of the newspaper ABC. I have also attached my credentials for your consideration.
Incorrect: I am Ravi Sharma, this is my email for the post of 'Assistant Manager'.
Body - Write about your and interest in applying, but keep it as brief as possible
Once you’ve introduced yourself and the general reason you’re writing, you can follow up with the body of your email.
Correct: "My name is Pooja Shah. I obtained your email address from the XYZ Development Authority website. I am writing to complain about the condition of roads in my locality. "
